Shipping & Delivery

Rock Solid Surfaces ships nationwide. Orders are shipped directly from the nearest MSI distribution center that has your product in stock. We do not offer installation or customer pickup.

How your order ships

  • UPS Ground – $99 flat: orders under 100 lb.
  • LTL truck freight – $275 flat: orders of 100 lb and over.
  • Large-format tile always ships LTL freight ($275): 24x48 tile and larger (including shower panels and large porcelain pavers) ships by truck to prevent breakage, whatever the order weight. Artificial turf rolls and pallet paver kits also ship by freight.
  • Regional items: Some products are only available in certain regions (for example, select landscape pebbles in Northern California). These are marked on the product page.

Processing time

We place your order with MSI after checkout, and it ships from the distribution center that has your product in stock. You will receive tracking or freight delivery details by email when your order ships. Need it by a certain date? Contact us before you order.

Freight delivery

  • Freight is delivered curbside or to the end of the driveway. The driver does not bring material inside or carry it to the work area.
  • Someone must be present to receive and sign for the delivery.
  • Please make sure a large truck can reach the delivery address.
  • Large or multi-pallet orders may need a custom freight quote. We will contact you before shipping if so.

Inspect your order on delivery

Count your boxes and check for damage before you sign. Note any damaged or missing cartons on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact us right away. Claims for damage, shortages or the wrong product must be reported in writing within 10 business days of delivery. Please do not install material you believe is damaged or incorrect.

Natural stone and porcelain variation

Natural stone is a product of nature, and no two pieces are exactly alike. Color variation, shading, veining, fissures, pits and fossils are normal characteristics of natural stone, not defects. Porcelain may also vary in shade from lot to lot. Order all of your material for a project at the same time, and blend pieces from several boxes as you install.
